Energia Areena – A Modern and Flexible Multipurpose Arena

After its inauguration in February 2007, Vantaa Energia Areena has received a great reception as a venue for various expositions, concerts, company and sports events. Energia Areena is situated in the bustling Helsinki Metropolitan Area but is aside from downtown traffic jams.

Because of its central location, Energia Areena is a considerable choice for organizing events of different types and sizes. Public transportation brings event visitors easily to the venue. Myyrmäki railway station is a few minutes’ walk away and buses stop right next to the arena.

The completion of the Ring Rail Line in 2010’s will make Energia Areena even more accessible. The new connection brings expo visitors and company event guests in 15 minutes directly from the airport to the Myyrmäki railway station, a few hundred yards from the arena.

Over 1,000 parking slots next to Energia Areena offer the choice of arriving in your own car.

Myyrmäki Sports Park, and the Myyrmäki Hall in particular, is famous for example as a venue for construction and building industry expositions. Situated in the Sports Park, two ice halls, Vantaa football stadium and the Myyrmäki Hall all cater to the needs of various expositions as well as company and sports events. The significance of Western Vantaa Sport Park’s event and sports locations is important on a national scale, and as a part of it, Energia Areena offers an additional choice as a venue for different types of events.

Company events, education seminars, expositions, concerts, party conventions, even company Christmas parties – Energia Areena is an ideal place for all of these happenings. We have a strong track record in hosting different types of events and we have the courage to promise to provide all the necessary facilities − practically what ever the event.

Technical requirements of TV broadcasts, expositions, conferences and show events were taken into account already in the planning stages of the arena. Energia Areena has a motorised retractable seating which enables using the whole floor space for expositions, concerts and company events. The floor surface area is 41m x 60m and free height is 12.5m.

High quality parquet is stress-resisting. If needed, the floor can be covered for example for expositions, concerts and conferences.

Energia Areena floor surface area totals as much as 2,500m2, but the space can easily be divided into smaller sections without losing the ability to use all technical capabilities of the arena.

Furthermore, the seating capacity can be adjusted to various needs. The full seating capacity of Energia Areena is 3,500 of which 2,600 seated.

The restaurant services at Energia Areena flexibly adapt to the size of the event. Restaurant Offside serves lunch weekdays but can quickly turn into a gourmet restaurant – but then again, so can the entire Energia Areena!

Concert or event visitors’ satisfaction in large events is guaranteed with enough refreshment stands.
